Ultimate Reset - Day 1

I had a tough start this morning.  I got up and drank my water and took my supplements.  I spent an hour making breakfast and doing the food prep that should have happened last night.  Ugh, soooo exhausted.   I had eggs, toast and kale for breakfast.  Isn't it funny how greens cook down to practically nothing?

I was so tired (and fighting a wicked headache) that I actually went home at lunch and took a nap.  I actually felt quite a bit better when I woke up and was actually able to be quite productive at work.  Lunch was pretty good.  I loved the salad, but my miso soup wasn’t the greatest.  Not to mention, I was feeling pretty waterlogged by that time from drinking so much h20.

I definitely wouldn’t have made it through the day without a snack.  Shakeology was a good, quick option, though the thought of more liquids didn’t quite appeal to me at that point.  Dinner was salmon, asparagus and potatoes.  I cooked my potatoes a little longer with two cloves of garlic and made them mashed rather than just boiled.

I’ve been working my ass off trying to catch up on my bookkeeping work as well as stay on top of my Beachbody stuff and blog.  I’m afraid something is going to have to give soon…I’ve been trying to find a groove with all my jobs since July and it’s just not really happening.   It’s something I am going to seriously think about this weekend – when I have time…HA!

Have you ever taken on too much?  Did it work itself out or did you have to untangle yourself from the mess you created?
